The Historic Arrow Rock Council was established in 1974 to promote
the
cultural heritage of Arrow Rock, Mo. for the benefit of local citizens
and visitors. HARC continues to serve that mission by offering a wide
variety of high-quality, family-friendly events
each year. The organization also owns and manages The Old School House, a charming
multipurpose facility that hosts a variety of village events and may be

Art Festival |
The annual spring tradition continues with Arrow Rock's Spring Garden Show (9 am.-5 p.m.). It's a great opportunity to buy plants and accessories for your garden. Stroll through the exhibits and enjoy a spring day in the village. Garden vendors, click here to download a dealer application. This year, we're beginning a new tradition with the addition of the George Caleb Bingham Art Festival. You can visit with the artists, see their work and even make an art purchase. Arrow Rock Folk Jam & Ice Cream Freeze-Off |
The village comes alive
with the sound of folk music at this new, free event. Enjoy a day of
entertainment by local and nationally known folk artists. Bring your
instruments and join the jam! Noon.-7 p.m. All that jammin' can work up
an appetite, so join us at the Ice Cream Freeze-Off at 3
p.m. ($3 for sampling & voting privileges, plus lots of ice
cream and homemade desserts!). All are welcome to enter
their ice cream creations. Prizes awarded to the top vote-getters. |

Arrow Rock's annual craft
festival is bigger and better than ever with lots of 18th century
crafts demonstrated by talented artisans. 10-5 both days. $1 admission. |
